Optimization of Catamaran Demihull Form in Early Stages of the Design Process

The amounts of research about catamaran have generated a practical formula to simplify the calculations of catamaran resistance. Ship designer will calculate the predictions of catamaran resistance rapidly. The aim of this research is focused to search the optimal demihull form where the hull form has the lowest resistance compared to other hull form models with the same displacement. To generate the different hull form, the initial hull form (parent hull) is transformed so that become some models by changing the parameter of coefficient block (Cb) in range ±10% with Lwl, T, H, volume and displacement are constant. The transformed hull form are calculated their total resistance from Froude number (Fr) 0,2 to 0,65 with spacing hull to length ratio (S/L) 0,2 to 0,4. The results of calculation show that the optimal demihull form is Model 4 where the initial hull form Cb +5%. The model has the lowest resistance compared to other models. The comparisons of resistance Model 4 with the configurations of S/L shows that the lowest resistance is S/L 0,4, so that the optimal demihull form is Model 4 with S/L 0,4

A Review on Internet of Things (IoT): Security and Privacy Requirements and the Solution Approaches

The world is undergoing a dramatic rapid transformation from isolated systems to ubiquitous Internet-based-enabled 2018;things2019; capable of interacting each other and generating data that can be analyzed to extract valuable information. This highly interconnected global network structure known as Internet of Things will enrich everyone2019;s life, increase business productivity, improve government efficiency, and the list just goes on. However, this new reality (IoT) built on the basis of Internet, contains new kind of challenges from a security and privacy perspective. Traditional security primitives cannot be directly applied to IoT technologies due to the different standards and communication stacks involved. Along with scalability and heterogeneity issues, major part of IoT infrastructure consists of resource constrained devices such as RFIDs and wireless sensor nodes. Therefore, a flexible infrastructure is required capable to deal with security and privacy issues in such a dynamic environment. ANALISIS PUTUSAN MAHKAMAH KONSTITUSI NO.46/PUU-VIII/2010 TENTANG STATUS ANAK YANG LAHIR DI LUAR PERKAWINAN YANG SAH

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pertimbangan Hakim Mahkamah Konstitusi berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2003 tentang Mahkamah Konstitusi dan untuk mengetahui akibat dari putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 46/PUU-VIII/2010 tersebut. Dalam skripsi ini permasalahan yang akan dibahas adalah pertama Bagaimana pertimbangan Hakim dalam putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 46/PUU-VIII/2010. Kedua, Apakah implikasi dari putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 46/PUU-VIII/2010 tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yuridis normatif, objek penelitian ini adalah hukum positif. Dalam penelitian ini ada tiga pendekatan pokok yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan perundang-undangan, pendekatan konsep dan pendekatan kasus. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa fungsi yang dimiliki Mahkamah Konstitusi sebagai pelindung hak konstitusional warga negara begitu lemah dan tidak maksimal. Disatu sisi Mahkamah Konstitusi berfungsi sebagai pelindung hak konstitusional warga negara, di sisi lain Mahkamah Konstitusi hanya memiliki kewenangan yang terkait dengan perlindungan hak konstitusional warga negara, yaitu menguji undang-undang terhadap Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945. Tinjauan hukum normatif tentang perkawinan di bawah tangan adalah bertentangan dengan Pasal 2 ayat (1) dan (2) Undang-undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan yang dinyatakan merupakan komulatif. Perkawinan di bawah tangan  mempunyai akibat hukum, yakni akibat yang mempunyai hak mendapat pengakuan dan perlindungan hukum apabila memenuhi Pasal 2 ayat (2). Perkawinan menurut Pasal 2 ayat (1) adalah sah menurut ajaran agama, hal ini dalam pendekatan positifistik belum termasuk kategori perbuatan hukum sehingga belum mendapatkan dapat dibuktikan berdasarkan ilmu pengetahuan dan/atau alat bukti lain menurut hukum mempunyai hubungan darah, termasuk hubungan perdata dengan keluarga ayahnya”. Sembilang National Park is a mangrove forest functioned as habitat of important fishes for fisherman. Study on fishes species lived in Sembilang National Park was done in March and June 2001, by survey method and identification of fish caught by fisherman using tugik, belat kelong, jarring sondong, jarring kantong, jarring cawing and pancing rawai. Fish catch was consisted of 75 species deriving from 14 ordo and 54 familiy and mostyly dominated by marine species. Freshwater species found was only 14 species. Water quality parameters varied from the upper to the down stream with salinity, temperature and pH ranged from 0-26%, 25-30°C and 2,0-7,7, respectively. High tide and rainfall also affected the distribution of the fish and water quality. Tanjung Bintang, South Lampung, where each company has activities to produce goods and services. In carrying out its activities, the company must have a sense of responsibility for the preservation of the environment and society. Besides getting benefits for the company itself, it can also provide welfare for the environment/community, this is related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of Islamic law on the implementation of CSR for the welfare of the community around the company PT. Natural Fragrance.
